Lecture on the understanding the river behaviour, includes advantages and disadvantages of the presence of the river, natural resource of river (availability of water, sand, biota, etc). Morphological consequences, hydraulics of river bend, flooding, erosion-sedimentation,  river environment sustainability and eco-hydraulics issues. Equivalent to 7 x 2 hours = 14 hours, comprises classes, assignments, and grading/evaluation.
